Berry Moscato Sangria Recipe
Try this fresh, crisp Berry Moscato Sangria recipe at your next summer entertaining event. The fresh squeezed lemon adds a bit pucker and tartness to this recipe and cuts through the sweetness of the fresh berries creating a pucker perfect for a refreshing summertime cocktail.
Fun party tip: A great tip for decorating your summer party is to cut a slit in the corks pulled from the wine bottles and slide in a card to label the food choices in an easy and elegant way. Once the party is over, be sure to use your Gallo Family Vineyards corks to donate to Meals On Wheels Association of America through the Every Cork Counts program.
- 1 (750 ml) bottle Gallo Family Vineyards Moscato wine
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, thickly sliced
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
- fresh mint, for garnish
- In a large pitcher combine wine, orange liqueur, lemon juice and sparking water. Stir to combine.
- Add berries. Chill for 1 hour to let flavors blend.
- Serve in ice filled wine glasses with a sprig of mint for garnish.
