As I sit here reminiscing about all the laughs at #BlogHer16 this past weekend, meeting new friends, getting to see old friends, and meeting old friends for the first time in real life, I’m excited about everything I learned from the BlogHer16 exhibitors in the Expo Hall.
The Exposition Hall is a great place to meet your favorite brands and chat about the possibilities of building professional relationships with these brands, and it’s also the perfect place to get new and refreshing ideas on how to use the products you already love. You may even find a new-to-you brand you love as much as you do an old favorite. While there were so many remarkable exhibitors in the Exposition Hall this year, check out these three booths we loved!
BlogHer16 Exhibitors: More Than Just Swag
Bush’s Hummus Made Easy
I have been a fan of Bush’s Beans for years and I couldn’t wait experience the Bush’s Hummus Made Easy booth in the Expo Hall. After all, I have a pretty kick-ass chili recipe which we regularly use Bush’s Beans, and I couldn’t wait to get a little inside knowledge on one of my favorite products, are learn about more ways to use my favorite bean. What I didn’t expect was to love the Bush’s Hummus Made Easy booth as much as I did. The Bush’s booth was by far one of my favorite decorated booths. The outdoor garden design of the booth was warm and welcoming and made me feel right at home, and when you stopped by the booth you could pick up a few samples of Bush’s Hummus Made Easy and Bush’s recipe book to get you started making your own homemade hummus. And, did you catch that the design of the booth changed every day?
Featured at the booth was a new way to make homemade hummus. With the Bush’s Hummus Made Easy pouch even a newbie like me can make delicious hummus at home in just three easy steps.
And with three tasty flavors available: Roasted Red Pepper, Classic, and Southwest Black Bean, you’re sure to find a flavor you’ll love.
Best of all, I had the opportunity to get a hand-on lesson in creating homemade hummus for the first time ever.
What I love most about the Hummus Made Easy pouches is that you’re not limited to just these three flavors. By adding fresh tomatoes, jalapeno, onions, and more, you can turn your hummus into your own unique creation. If you need a little creative inspiration on how to make your own hummus at home, Bush’s website features delicious recipes including: Hummus & Veggie Cups, Classic Mix-Ins, and Southwest Hummus Tacos.
Bai, a Mandarin Chinese word for ‘pure,’ is a new product to me, and I have fallen head over heels in love with Bai. It’s true what they say, Bai will high-five your taste buds as you fall in love at the very first sip. At the Bai booth you could sample any one of the their antioxidant infusions like Brasilia Blueberry or Ipanema Pomegrante, two of my favorite antioxidant flavors from the event. Another favorite, their Molokai Coconut Cocofusion, a refreshing coconut infused drink with only 5 calories. And when I say sample, I mean an entire bottle, which was perfect after a day of meandering around the Expo Hall.
In addition to their antioxidant infusions, you could also sample a selection of Bai Bubbles, antioxidant infusions with a carbonated twist. Whether you were looking for a fresh drink with or without a little sparkle, Bai had you covered at BlogHer this year.
A heart-warming activity at the Bai booth, supporting Bai‘s do-good vision of a world doing what’s right, was the pay it forward post-it board, where you could write an inspirational dedication and pay a do-good deed you received forward. In addition to the post-it board, Bai had fun photo-op to make your own gif and share online. As much as I wanted to share with you the fun gifs we made, (Yes, we made more than one!), the gif maker and my e-mail did not play nicely and my gifs were lost in cyberspace, (insert sad face). Instead, I’m sharing my ‘Do good Bai your body. Be true to your soul.’ selfie below.
Kraft Mac & Cheese
This one’s for the kids! Kraft Mac & Cheese sponsored a pop up sampling table and photo backdrop next to Registration on Thursday evening/Friday morning to announce their #didntnotice campaign as Kraft Mac & Cheese quietly went all-natural removing artificial flavors, preservatives, and dyes from its iconic product in the blue box.
What???? You didn’t notice either?
Yes, it’s true. Kraft’s ‘It’s changed. But it hasn’t.’ announces how eight months ago Kraft quietly started selling the new recipe in the old box and hardly anyone noticed. You know you love it, and now you can have it without the guilt and all that artificial junk.
After a blind taste test in March of 2016, and confirmation of the successful recipe change, Kraft officially announce the amended recipe with these new Kraft Mac & Cheese boxes below. And thanks to the generosity of Kraft, everyone at BlogHer16 was able to come home with a few boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese to enjoy the taste they love with new, all-natural ingredients.
See you next year at BlogHer17!
