The Los Angeles Zoo Photo Day begins at 7:30 am when a welcome presentation kicks off the event. Next, beginners receive hands-on help, while others head straight for various photography stations to capture the moment. Telephoto Stations will be available for photographers to attach their cameras at various exhibits throughout the morning. Also in the morning, keepers staffing enrichment stations are on hand to foster photo ops at a variety of locations.
Photographers of all abilities can attend inspirational and instructional talks from 11 am to 3:30 pm covering a wide range of topics including Basics of Photoshop and Lightroom, Scenic Beauty Tips For Your Travels, Top Ten Safari Photo Tips and more. Encounters with birds, insects, and reptiles allow photographers to get up-close and personal with their subjects.
