Pirate's Dinner Adventure – Rise of the Sea Dragon
Rise of the Sea Dragon, the latest show at Pirate's Dinner Adventure is an action-packed love story, full of adventure and quick wit adults and kids alike with love.
Before the Show
As you arrive at the venue, you'll want to check in as soon as possible. Though you have a reservations, table seating is first come first serve and you will want to get a table as close to the show as possible. Once you check in, you will be directed to take your official Pirate's Dinner Adventure family photo. This photo will be available for purchase during the show.
Guests are invited to hang out in the lobby before the show and enjoy appetizers and drinks. You'll want to grab a seat in the main lobby as close to the bar as possible for the best seats in the house during the pre-show entertainment, a fantastic aerial event from the pirate crew.
You can shop one of the many shops within the lobby, and get your bootlegged souvenirs before the show as well. Face painting is also available for those scallywags looking to dive head first into the pirate spirit.
The Adventure Begins
Half an hour before the show starts, the pre-show aerial performance begins as the swashbuckling pirate crew for the night is introduced to all. After the pre-show, you'll follow your pirate (assigned to you at check in) to your seat alongside the 18th Century Spanish galleon adrift in a 300, 000 – gallon lagoon. As the dinner room continues to fill, the talented pirate crew will lead all the lads and lasses in song as dinner is prepared to be served.
Dinner for the night is a four-course feast fit for a Pirate King! The adults were served generous portions of soup/salad, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and dessert to boot. Children received soup/salad a plate of chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and dessert as well.
As the show began, we were instantly thrown into the action-packed adventure as we set sail with the pirates to confront the enemy sea dragon. The high-energy special effects, aerial artistry, swashbuckling swordplay and dynamic duels did not disappoint any of us, even our 2-year-old daughter.
The strength of the performers shines in every sequence of the show, but none other than the aerial, Cirque de Solei like performances. Check out the video below of one of my favorite performances from the night.
Just be careful who you listen to and what you do. Captain Sebastian doesn't take kindly to his crew shaking their butts at them.
We LOVED Pirate's Dinner Adventure and so did our children. This is a great family friendly show for all to see. The ad lib keeps the mood light and engages the audience with wise cracks about Justin Beiber, and even Spongebob Squarepants.
