Pretty Paper Flower Pot Craft
- Colored paper (pink, light pink, blue and purple)
- Wooden popsicle sticks
- Paint (green)
- Buttons (yellow)
- Toilet roll tube
Step 1 – Paint three wooden popsicle sticks with the green paint and leave to dry.
Then use a pencil to lightly draw a flower shape onto the blue paper, approximately 2.5 inches wide, and cut out with the scissors. Repeat this with the pink and purple papers, however, make the flowers slightly smaller. Glue a yellow button onto the center of each flower.
Step 2 – Carefully cut the cardboard toilet roll tube in half. Place one half of the tube onto the pink paper and use the pencil to mark the length. Then cut a strip of the paper about half an inch longer than the tube. Cover the strip of paper in glue and wrap it around the cardboard tube. Then fold in the overlapping edges of the paper at the top and bottom.
Step 3 – Glue the three paper flowers that you created in step one to the tops of the painted sticks. Then cover the lower parts of the back of the sticks in glue and stick to the inside of the cardboard plant pot. Finally, cut a small heart shape out of the light pink sheet of paper and then glue to the front of the flower pot.
