Bacon Avocado Sweet Potato Cracker Bites
Appetizers are one of the simplest dishes to prepare for a crowd, which is why we love them so much! Not only is bite sized food fun, it's a great way to encourage a crowd to get up, move around, and mingle with other guests.
For our first fall themed recipe, I decided to make an appetizer that featured one of my favorite fall flavors, the sweet potato. Instead of roasting slices of sweet potatoes for the base of this appetizer, I decided to use Breton Artisanal Sweet Potato and Ancient Grains crackers because I know Brenton crackers will bear the weight of the layered ingredients on top.
The best thing about this recipe is that you can mix up the flavors to create your own appetizer with a twist. Just keep in mind that your guests will likely eat with their eyes first so try to choose colorful ingredients which look and taste great together. As you can see below we added, even more, vibrant colors to our recipe by selecting a colorful variety of cherry tomatoes. Don't they look amazing on that bed of guacamole?
We hope you and your guests enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
