Monster Pencil Holder DIY
- tin can
- red paper
- yellow paper
- large googly eyes
- black pen
Step 1 – Cut the sheet of red paper so that it is wide enough to wrap around the whole of the tin can, and tall enough so that it is about two inches taller than the can. Cover the paper in glue and wrap it around the tin, then fold down the paper at the top of the can to create a neat edge.
Step 2 – Cut out some circles in various sizes from the yellow sheet of paper. Then stick them to the pot using glue. Make sure you leave some space at the front for the monster's face.
Step 3 – Cut two small triangular shapes from the yellow paper and glue them to the front if the inside of the can to create the monster's horns. Then stick a large googly eye to the front of the pot, and use a black pen to draw a smile underneath.
