The Wonderful World of Pterosaurs | September 29, 2016
While dinosaurs may have dominated the land during the Mesozoic, pterosaurs of all shapes and sizes ruled the skies. Come and discover how the process of paleontology continues to shape our understanding of the world of pterosaurs. At this Homeschool Day, take a closer look at some rare fossils, talk with our museum scientists and educators, and even meet a pterosaur or two at our Encounters show.
You can also catch a final glimpse of our travelling exhibition, Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs,* before it flies off to its next destination. We’ll have a limited number of free first-come, first-served tickets to this special exhibition.
*Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York.
